This is to help get y'all into the spirit of the season.

Last year I played a series of Halloween themed music special on Internet radio channel sponsored by http://blueplanethosting.us But back the it was still (tedwwweb.net) anyways I wondering if I'll do it again, for this year. Let me know? That is I don't have a kidney attack again like I did when I was running this live. It's why I never came on mic during it. Regardless it's a little bizzaro Halloween party for the ears. Think of it as my TV special during the same time that they're playing Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin or one of those trumped up variety show specials like Paul Lynde or Bob Hope or something.

There are some rough spots and some jerky moments in it so I warned ya.

A couple of news items, to share with you before I get on with this weeks podcast. First off it looks a though the infamous Prank Call Radio dot Com, has lost it's prime manager and prank caller, "Dr. Lego". And it was announced that he will be continuing his night time live show on former rival channel, "Prank Call Underground" Radio.
"PCR" web manager DaDead has followed Dr. Lego over to "PCU", and had some words to say on the subject, including other PCR host "Zolar" best know from "The Howard Stern Show". Zolar is rumored to have taken his, famed Friday night radio show, to "The Social Crime Comedy Network".

This interview was recorded last year in March of 2006. In it he talks about his then budding web comic project community "Act-I-Vate" and his first installment of the Billy Dogma saga "Immortal". Also he discusses his more professional work with publishes such as Marvel/ DC/Vertigo and his relationship with underground comic ledgend Harvey Pekar, among others... (catch the Sesame Street's Maria story..) So, hear us say "anyhow" and "Wow!" alot!

Becky (I Love you)!

This call has a back story to it. It's based on a strange insodent that happened to me some years ago. When I got my new phone line hooked up for my internet (yes da dail-up), I had either an old number to a girl named Becky, or he number was ver close to mine. So I wound have many calls with it, but the occasional friend that knew it, or survayers or the wrong number calls looking for "Becky".
So, for a while my computer was out being fixed, and I had decided to hook that line up to a phone. so one day I was here in the studio quietly working in my own thought, good lord knows what they were, and suddenly out of no where that phone rings.... I had no ID on it, and I pick it up, maybe it's my friend, or a relative. some young guy answers, must be teen if anything, all emotionally distressed, before I can say even a hello I hear a blast of "WAIT WAITWAITWAIT!! BECKY, DON'T HANG UP, BECKY , I FUCKED UP, I KNOW YOU PROBABLY HATE ME, DON'T HANG UP!!.." This kid was crying, whailing at the phone, I wasn't sure is it was one of my nephews calling me at first. There was an older woman with him here, probably her mother or something going " It's okay Becky it's okay, I'm here we love you.." Apparently there was some serious drama going on with Becky, and I get an ear full of it. "BECKY I LOVE YOU, I SCREWED UP! BECKEY I LOVE YOUUUU!!!!!!".
Okay, I'm stopped in my tracks, what the hell is this out of fucking nowhere? I know it wasn't a prank because I've heard those voices before looking for her, then getting the wrong number. So luckily I knew what was up. In my strong manly voice I go "Who IS THIS?"
dead silence, the tornado of emoting stops suddenly. "T-This is Josh.." Then I just slammed down the phone. They ring back, I was to weired out, so I just turned my ringer off, and let them wonder.

So this new call is in homage to "Josh". as I call up "The Kountry Kitchen", to see how others would react. The girls here thought they had me.
